The American Legion Auxiliary

Unit 45

A Note from the Legion Auxiliary members of Unit 45

The American Legion Auxiliary is a wonderful organization dedicated to supporting military veterans, children and communities.

Unit 45 contributes to the nearly 1 million members nationwide; the largest patriotic service organization in the world.

Our members are women who are eligible to be an American Legion Auxiliary member: a wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, great granddaughter, or grandmother of a member of The American Legion or of a deceased veterans who served in the US Armed Forces during a time of war or conflict (step relatives are also eligible). A female veteran who served during any of the conflicts listed below is also eligible.

Our Auxiliary plays a pivotal role in our post. We are extremely grateful for our Ladies and thank them for everything they do.

From the President of our Unit, Pat Hunt

As President I am always looking for new members to join in with us. We support the Legion and our Veterans in every way we possibly can. I am thankful for the members we have, however, we can always make do with more.

We keep busy at Post 45 with dinners and other things we do such as:

Girls State, Sending care packages to our local troops overseas, and so much more.

I invite you to come by and visit with us anytime we are open!
